Citi analyst James Hardiman lowered the price target on Polaris Industries (NYSE: PII) to $53.00 (from $57.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst comments "Shares of PII were down ~9% on Tuesday (vs. +0.92% for the S&P), as the magnitude of the 2025 guide down was concerning, with any incremental tariff implications likely sending the full year into a negative territory. While we would like to get constructive following such a meaningful reset in expectations, Polaris is not out of the woods in our view, as potential incremental tariffs would not only weigh on what’s left of near-term earnings power but raise cascading concerns around dividend cuts and covenant breaches. Maintain Neutral given significant unknowns surrounding tariff exposure."
