General Motors (GM) Tops Q3 EPS by 56c; raises guidance

General Motors (NYSE: GM) reported Q3 EPS of $2.96, $0.56 better than the analyst estimate of $2.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $48.76 billion versus the consensus estimate of $44.74 billion.

GUIDANCE:

General Motors sees FY2024 EPS of $10.00-$10.50, versus the consensus of $9.97.

GM\'s 2024 financial guidance includes anticipated capital spending of $10.5 billion - $11.5 billion, inclusive of investments in the company\'s battery cell manufacturing joint ventures.
