United Microelectronics (UMC) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c, provides guidance

United Microelectronics (NYSE: UMC) reported Q2 EPS of $0.17, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.75 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.74 billion.
