Ambarella (AMBA) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c, provides guidance

Ambarella (NASDAQ: AMBA) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.26), $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.31). Revenue for the quarter came in at $54.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $53.98 million.

Ambarella is offering the following guidance for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, ending July 31, 2024:

Revenue is expected to be between $60.0 million and $64.0 million, versus the consensus of $59.41 million
Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis is expected to be between 62.5% and 64.0%.
Operating expenses on a non-GAAP basis are expected to be between $47.5 million and $49.5 million.
