Unum Group (UNM) Tops Q1 EPS by 15c; offers outlook

Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) reported Q1 EPS of $2.12, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $1.97. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.2 billion.

OUTLOOK

Full-year 2024 outlook of an increase in after-tax adjusted operating income per share of 7 percent to 9 percent when comparing to full-year 2023.
