Novartis (NYSE: NVS) reported Q1 EPS of $1.80, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $1.67. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.83 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.43 billion.
Net sales are expected to grow high single to low double-digit (from mid-single-digit).
Core operating income is expected to grow low double-digit to mid-teens (from high single-digit).
