After-Hours Stock Movers:
Cadence Design Systems (NASDAQ: CDNS) declined 8% after the chip design software company published second quarter and full year guidance that was below estimates.
Cleveland-Cliffs (NYSE: CLF) declined 3% after the mining company reported EPS and revenue that fell short of the average analyst estimate.
Nucor (NYSE: NUE) declined 6.9% after the steel company reported lackluster earnings in the first quarter of 2024 and said second quarter earnings will decrease.
Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) declined 15% after it issued guidance for the second quarter that disappointed Wall Street.
Riot Platforms (NASDAQ: RIOT) climbed 4%, adding to a gain of 23% during the regular session, as the price of Bitcoin climbed.
Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL), a company targeted by short sellers earlier this month, edged lower after it reported results for the first quarter and issued guidance. The stock was down fractionally.
