After-hours movers: NVIDIA surges, Rivian sinks, and more

After-Hours Stock Movers:

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) shares surged 9.5% after the chip maker beat earnings expectations for the fourth quarter and issuing guidance that topped views. Other AI-related stocks including Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ: SMCI), AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR) also gained.

Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ: RIVN) declined after the electric vehicle OEM issued a production forecast for the year that trailed estimates. Shares were down 13%.

Etsy (NASDAQ: ETSY) declined 5.5% after the e-commerce company reported mixed results and guidance.

Synopsis (NASDAQ: SNPS) climbed 3.6% after beating consensus estimates.

Dutch Bros Inc. (NYSE: BROS) climbed 7% after the coffee-based franchise operator topped consensus expectations in the fourth quarter.
