XPeng’s (XPEV) G9 wins two titles at Denmark’s EV of the year 2024 awards

Chinese electric automaker, XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV) announced Wednesday that the company’s international version of its electric SUV, XPeng G9, has been awarded SUV of the Year and Family Car of the Year in Denmark Mobilsiden’s Electric Car of the Year 2024 award.

More than 10,000 votes have been tallied for 104 electric cars eligible for Mobilsiden.dk’s Electric Car of the Year 2024 award, representing vehicles already available or soon to be introduced in the Danish market. Out of the five awards, two have been won by the XPeng G9.

Specifically, the XPENG G9 clinched the titles of SUV of the Year 2024 and Family Car of the Year 2024. Additionally, the G9 secured the third-highest number of votes in the Motorists’ Award category, recognizing the most favored electric cars among Mobilsiden.dk's audience.

"Quite simply, a nice and spacious SUV with comfort and a cabin that you would otherwise only find in expensive luxury cars.” Said journalists for the SUV of the year.

“It is a high-tech marvel that focuses on ease of use and driving experience.”

Shares of XPEV are down 4.86% in mid-day trading on Wednesday.
