XPeng (XPEV) to Launch G6 Ultra on June 29th

XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV), a leading Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced its upcoming launch of the XPENG G6 Ultra Smart Coupe SUV on June 29. This new model will mark the company's fifth addition to its lineup of intelligent electric vehicles.

The XPeng G6 is the first production model based on the company's next-generation smart electric platform architecture SEPA2.0.

A live broadcast of the G6 launch event will begin Thursday with an English language replay available on Friday, June 30.

XPeng Inc., headquartered in Guangzhou, began accepting pre-sales for the G6 on June 9, with a price of RMB225,000 ($31,506). Within a span of 72 hours, the company announced via a tweet that they had received over 25,000 orders for the vehicle.

The G6 debuted at Auto Shanghai 2023 on April 18th.

"We aspire to redefine the mobility experience of a broad customer base with streamlined configurations, outstanding performance, a unified immersive product experience and efficient development iterations," said He Xiaopeng, Chairman & CEO.

Shares of XPEV are up 3.03% in afternoon trading on Monday.
