Planet Labs (PL) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c, Guidance Misses Consensus

Planet Labs (NYSE: PL) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.13), $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.15). Revenue for the quarter came in at $52.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $52.92 million.

GUIDANCE:

Planet Labs sees Q2 2024 revenue of $53-55 million, versus the consensus of $60.7 million.

• . Non-GAAP Gross Margin is expected to be in the range of approximately 48% to 49%. Adjusted EBITDA loss is expected to be in the range of approximately ($20) million and ($17) million.

Planet Labs sees FY2024 revenue of $225-235 million, versus the consensus of $257 million.

• Non-GAAP Gross Margin is expected to be in the range of approximately 52% to 54%. Adjusted EBITDA loss is expected to be in the range of approximately ($67) million and ($58) million.
