ANSYS (ANSS) Tops Q1 EPS by 24c; misses on guidance

ANSYS (NASDAQ: ANSS) reported Q1 EPS of $1.85, $0.24 better than the analyst estimate of $1.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $509.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $492.1 million.

GUIDANCE:

ANSYS sees Q2 2023 EPS of $1.35-$1.53, versus the consensus of $1.87. ANSYS sees Q2 2023 revenue of $473-498 million, versus the consensus of $521.15 million.

ANSYS sees FY2023 EPS of $8.39-$8.91, versus the consensus of $8.65. ANSYS sees FY2023 revenue of $2.24-2.32 billion, versus the consensus of $2.29 billion.
