Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) Chief Executive Elon Musk revealed on Tuesday in a federal trial over his "funding secured" tweets that the relationship between Tesla and JP Morgan bankers is "very negative."
The EV maker's CEO said that as a result of the "very negative relationship" between the two, he decided to take away Tesla's commercial-banking business from JP Morgan.
In further comments, Musk explained that he had previously asked JPMorgan Chief Executive Jamie Dimon for support for Tesla, but he declined.
"JP Morgan hates Tesla and me, very much," Musk is said to have told the trial.
Elon Musk and Jamie Dimon have clashed in the past, with the WSJ previously reporting that Musk has spurned Dimon's JPMorgan for years, using other banks while expanding Tesla.
