Musk expects to reduce time at Twitter and find someone to run the company

November 16, 2022 11:59 AM EST

Elon Musk said Wednesday that he anticipates reducing his time at Twitter and finding someone else to eventually run the social media company.

The comments were made while Musk was testifying in a Delaware court to fend off claims that his $56 billion pay package at Tesla was based on easily achievable performance targets.

On Monday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Musk said in a virtual appearance at the B20 business conference in Indonesia, that his "workload has recently increased quite a lot."

"I have too much work on my plate, that is for sure," the CEO of Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), Twitter, SpaceX, and Boring Company said.

Many fans of Musk have expressed concerns regarding his current workload. He tweeted on Monday that he had been "at Twitter SF HQ all night. Will be working & sleeping here until org is fixed," later adding that he has "Tesla covered too. Will be there part of this week."
