Broadcom (AVGO) Declares $4.10 Quarterly Dividend; New $10B Stock Buyback

In addition to the VMware deal and earnings, Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) declared a quarterly dividend of $4.10 per share, or $16.4 annualized. The dividend will be payable on June 30, 2022, to stockholders of record on June 22, 2021, with an ex-dividend date of June 21, 2021. The annual yield on the dividend is 3.1 percent.
The Company's Board of Directors has authorized a new share repurchase program to repurchase up to $10 billion of our common stock through December 31, 2023. This new share repurchase authorization is in addition to the share repurchase program authorized in December 2021, under which we may repurchase the current remaining $3 billion of common stock through December 31, 2022.
