Lemonade (NYSE: LMND) reported Q1 EPS of ($1.21), $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of ($1.43). Revenue for the quarter came in at $44.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $43.4 million.
- IFP, defined as the aggregate annualized premium for customers as of the period end date, increased by 66% to $419.0 million as compared to the first quarter of 2021, primarily due to a 37% increase in the number of customers as well as a 22% increase in premium per customer.
- Customer count increased by 37% to 1,504,197 as compared to the first quarter of 2021
