Orion Engineered Carbons (OEC) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c, Offers Guidance

Orion Engineered Carbons (NYSE: OEC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.57, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $484.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $433.84 million.

GUIDANCE:

Orion Engineered Carbons sees FY2022 EPS of $2.00-$2.35, versus the consensus of $2.09.

• “Based on our strong first quarter results and our current view of the full year, we are increasing our Adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $310 million and $340 million, up 21% at the mid-point, and we are increasing Adjusted EPS to be in a range of $2.00 per share to $2.35 per share,” Mr. Painter concluded
