Kroger (KR) Tops Q4 EPS by 19c, Offers Guidance

Kroger (NYSE: KR) reported Q4 EPS of $0.91, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $0.72. Revenue for the quarter came in at $33 billion versus the consensus estimate of $32.71 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Kroger sees FY2022 EPS of $3.75-$3.85, versus the consensus of $3.45.

• Identical Sales growth without fuel of 2.0% to 3.0%
• Adjusted EPS of $3.75 to $3.85
• Adjusted FIFO Operating Profit of $4.2 billion to $4.3 billion
