MercadoLibre (NASDAQ: MELI) shares rose more than 9% higher after-hours following the company’s Q4 results, with EPS coming in at $1.67, beating the consensus estimate of $0.95.
Revenue increased 60.5% year-over-year to $2.1 billion, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.02 billion. Commerce and Fintech revenues grew 55.6% and 70.1% year-over-year to $1,357.8 million and $773.0 million, respectively.
Gross merchandise volume (GMV) grew 21.2% to $8.0 billion, with unique active users reaching 82.2 million, considering the company’s entire ecosystem.
