Tesla's (TSLA) China Sales Down 2.9% in November

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) sold 52,859 China-made EV units last month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

This number compares to 54,391 sold in October. The company exported 21,127 vehicles in November, which compares to 40,666 exported in November.

Other than Tesla, Nio (NYSE: NIO) sold 10,878 cars last month, which is a new monthly high. Xpeng (NASDAQ: XPEV) sold 15,613 cars while Volkswagen AG sold over 14,000 units.

Overall, car sales hit 1.85 million in November, down 12.5% compared to a year-ago period.

Tesla share price is down 0.6% in pre-open Wednesday.
