Marcus & Millichap (MMI) Tops Q2 EPS by 39c

Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) reported Q2 EPS of $0.78, $0.39 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $284.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $216.92 million.

This market segment consistently accounts for over 80% of all commercial property sales transactions and over 60% of the commission pool and is highly fragmented. The top 10 brokerage firms led by MMI have an estimated 23% share of this segment by transaction count.
