Unum Group (UNM) Tops Q2 EPS by 28c

Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) reported Q2 EPS of $1.39, $0.28 better than the analyst estimate of $1.11.

Our core business segments exhibited solid underlying fundamental trends, with improving sales and overall stable benefits experience," said Richard P. McKenney, president and chief executive officer. "These favorable results drive an improvement in our outlook for the full year, which we expect to continue to be influenced by the pandemic."
