Crane Co. (CR) Misses Q4 EPS by 10c, Offers FY21 Guidance

Crane Co. (NYSE: CR) reported Q4 EPS of $1.00, $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $726 million versus the consensus estimate of $737.92 million.

GUIDANCE:

Crane Co. sees FY2021 EPS of $4.90-$5.10, versus the consensus of $4.95.

  • We are introducing full year 2021 GAAP EPS guidance in a range of $4.85-$5.05. Excluding Special items, full year 2021 EPS guidance is $4.90-$5.10. Sales are expected to be approximately $3.05 billion, reflecting core sales growth of approximately 2%, favorable foreign exchange of 1.5% and a nominal acquisition benefit. Full year 2021 free cash flow (cash provided by operating activities less capital spending) is expected to be in a range of $260 million to $290 million.
