Amcor plc (AMCR) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Offers Guidance

Amcor plc (NYSE: AMCR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.16, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.12 billion.

For the twelve month period ending 30 June 2021, the Company expects:

  • Adjusted constant currency EPS growth of approximately 7 to 12% (previously 5 to 10%), compared with adjusted EPS of 64.2 US cents per share in fiscal 2020. - This guidance range includes pre-tax synergy benefits associated with the Bemis acquisition of approximately $50 to $70 million. - Assuming current exchange rates prevail for the remainder of the year, it is estimated that currency would have no material impact on reported EPS.
  • Adjusted free cash flow of approximately $1.0 to $1.1 billion.
