Ingersoll-Rand (IR) Tops Q3 EPS by 9c

Ingersoll-Rand (NYSE: IR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.40, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.27 billion.
