ANSYS (ANSS) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, Lowers Guidance

ANSYS (NASDAQ: ANSS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.83, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $308.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $310.83 million.

GUIDANCE:

ANSYS sees Q2 2020 EPS of $1.01-$1.33, versus the consensus of $1.43. ANSYS sees Q2 2020 revenue of $335-375 million, versus the consensus of $382.7 million.

ANSYS sees FY2020 EPS of $5.61-$6.23, versus the consensus of $6.26. ANSYS sees FY2020 revenue of $1.555-1.63 billion, versus the consensus of $1.64 billion.
