Nordstrom (JWN) Misses Q1 EPS by 20c, Cuts FY EPS Outlook

Nordstrom (NYSE: JWN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.23, $0.20 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.44 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.57 billion.
FISCAL YEAR 2019 OUTLOOK
Nordstrom remains focused on three strategic objectives in driving shareholder returns: gaining market share, improving profitability and returns, and maintaining disciplined capital allocation. The Company revised its annual outlook to reflect current trends:
