CoreCivic (NYSE: CXW) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share, or $1.76 annualized. This is a 2.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.43.
The dividend will be payable on April 15, 2019, to stockholders of record on April 1, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of March 29, 2019.
The annual yield on the dividend is 8.1 percent.
We are pleased to announce an increase to our quarterly cash dividend to $0.44 per share, or $1.76 per share annually," said Damon T. Hininger, CoreCivic's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The increase in our quarterly dividend reflects our confidence in the stability of cash flows generated from our existing contracts and the benefits derived from the growth and diversification of our real estate portfolio."
