Burlington Stores (NYSE: BURL) reported Q3 EPS of $1.21, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $1.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.64 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.6 billion.
- Comparable store sales increased 4.4% on a shifted basis
GUIDANCE:
Burlington Stores sees FY2018 EPS of $6.33-$6.37, versus the consensus of $6.24.
- Total sales to increase in the range of 10.9% to 11.2%, excluding the 53rd week impact in 2017; this assumes shifted comparable store sales to increase in the range of 2% to 3% for the fourth quarter of Fiscal 2018, resulting in a full year shifted comparable store sales increase of 3.4% to 3.7% on top of the 3.4% increase during Fiscal 2017
