Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) reported Q1 EPS of $1.29, $0.21 better than the analyst estimate of $1.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $35.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $33.65 billion.
"We are pleased that the first quarter provided a solid start to fiscal year 2019," said Mike Kaufmann, CEO of Cardinal Health. "Operating performance came in as expected, and we are on track in executing on our strategic initiatives to deliver increased value to our shareholders, our customers and their patients. Cardinal Health sees FY2019 EPS of $4.90-$5.15, versus the consensus of $5.01.
