Lands' End (LE) Misses Q2 EPS by 12c, SSS Fall 5.8%

Lands' End (NASDAQ: LE) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.16), $0.12 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.04). Revenue for the quarter came in at $307.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $322.2 million.
Direct segment net revenue increased 6.4% to $276.6 million, as compared to the same period last year. Retail segment net revenue decreased 25.8% to $31.3 million, primarily attributable to the reduction of 57 of our Lands' End Shops at Sears locations combined with a same store sales decline of 5.8%. Same store sales in Lands' End Shops at Sears locations declined 6.7% for the quarter while same store sales in our Company operated stores declined 0.6%.
