Nordstrom (JWN) Tops Q2 EPS by 11c, Raises FY EPS Guidance

Nordstrom (NYSE: JWN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.95, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.07 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.96 billion.
- In Full-Price, comparable sales increased 4.1 percent. The top-ranking merchandise categories were Kids' Apparel and Beauty.
- In Off-Price, comparable sales increased 4.0 percent.
GUIDANCE:
Nordstrom sees FY2018 EPS of $3.50-$3.65 vs consensus of $3.46 on revenue of $15.4-15.5 billion vs 15.78 billion expected.
