Netflix (NFLX) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c; Net Sub Additions Miss

Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) reported Q2 EPS of $0.85, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.91 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.94 billion.

The company reported net subscriber additions of 5.15 million, versus the consensus of 6.3 million. U.S. domestic streaming subscribers came in at 0.67 million versus the consensus of 1.1 million. International streaming subscribers came in at 4.47 million versus the consensus of 4.8 million.

The company sees Q3 revenues of $3.988 billion, versus the consensus of $4.13 billion. The company sees Q3 EPS of $0.68, versus the consensus of $0.73.

The company sees Q3 U.S. domestic streaming subscribers of 0.65 million versus the consensus of 1 million. The company sees Q3 International streaming subscribers of 4.35 million versus the consensus of 5 million.
