Kroger (KR) Raises Quarterly Dividend 12% to $0.14; 2% Yield

Kroger (NYSE: KR) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share, or $0.56 annualized. This is a 12% increase from the prior dividend of $0.125.
The dividend will be payable on September 1, 2018, to stockholders of record on August 15, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of August 14, 2018.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2 percent.
"Kroger's dividend increase reflects our Board of Directors' confidence in our Restock Kroger plan," said Rodney McMullen, Kroger's chairman and CEO. "This marks our 12th consecutive year of dividend increases. We are committed to creating shareholder value."
