Ambarella (AMBA) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c, Q2 Revenue Comes in Light

Ambarella (NASDAQ: AMBA) reported Q1 EPS of $0.13, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $56.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $56.14 million.

GUIDANCE:

Ambarella sees Q2 2019 revenue of $60-64 million, versus the consensus of $68.2 million.

• Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis is expected to be between 59.0% and 61.0%
• Operating expenses on a non-GAAP basis are expected to be between $32.0 million and $33.5 million
