Movado Group (MOV) Tops Q4 EPS by 26c, FY Revenue Guidance Tops Views

Movado Group (NYSE: MOV) reported Q4 EPS of $0.52, $0.26 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $149.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $132.5 million.

GUIDANCE:

Movado Group sees 2019 EPS of $2.15-$2.25, may not compare to the consensus of $1.95. Movado Group sees 2019 revenue of $605-615 million, versus the consensus of $570 million.

• Based on the lower U.S. corporate tax rate, coupled with our jurisdictional earnings, the Company anticipates a 25% effective tax rate. The outlook excludes approximately $3.0 million of amortization of the acquired intangible assets for fiscal 2019 related to the Olivia Burton brand. The Company\'s outlook assumes no further significant fluctuations from prevailing foreign currency exchange rates.
