Sprouts Farmers Market (SFM) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c, Comps Increase 4.6%, Offers Guidance

Sprouts Farmers Market (NASDAQ: SFM) reported Q4 EPS of $0.16, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.14 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.14 billion.

Comparable store sales growth of 4.6% and two-year comparable store sales growth of 5.3%

The company also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the company to repurchase, on a discretionary basis, up to an additional $350 million of its outstanding common stock through December 2019.

GUIDANCE:

Sprouts Farmers Market sees Q1 2018 EPS of $1.22-$1.28, versus the consensus of $1.23.
