Calix, Inc. (CALX) Misses Q4 EPS by 2c, Miss on Revenues; Offers 1Q18 EPS/Revenue Guidance Below Consensus

Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.15), $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $137.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $140.76 million.

The Company’s non-GAAP net loss for the fourth quarter of 2017 was $7.8 million, or ($0.15) per fully diluted share, compared to a non-GAAP net loss of $6.8 million, or ($0.14) per fully diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2016. The non-GAAP net loss for fiscal year 2017 was $65.6 million, or ($1.31) per basic and fully diluted share, compared to a non-GAAP net loss of $7.0 million, or ($0.14) per diluted share for fiscal year 2016.

GUIDANCE:

Calix, Inc. sees Q1 2018 EPS of ($0.20)-($0.16), versus the consensus of ($0.22). Calix, Inc. sees Q1 2018 revenue of $102-108 million, versus the consensus of $119.79 million.
