Praxair (PX) Raises Quarterly Dividend 4.8% to $0.8250; 2.1% Yield

Praxair (NYSE: PX) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.8250 per share, or $3.3 annualized. This is a 4.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.7875.

The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2018, to stockholders of record on March 7, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of March 6, 2018.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.

“With a focused business strategy and solid execution, we were able to generate record free cash flow in 2017 and this dividend increase reflects our confidence in our ability to sustain strong cash flow throughout economic cycles,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Angel. “Praxair is proud to have been added to the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index, recognizing 25 straight years of dividend increases.”
