Big 5 Sporting Goods (NASDAQ: BGFV) reported Q3 EPS of $0.28, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $270.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $272.28 million.

Same store sales decreased 2.9% for the third quarter of fiscal 2017.

GUIDANCE:

Big 5 Sporting Goods sees Q4 2017 EPS of $0.16-$0.28, versus the consensus of $0.31. For the fiscal 2017 fourth quarter, the Company expects same store sales to be in the negative low single-digit range
