Stifel raised its price target on Columbia Sportswear (NASDAQ: COLM) to $62.00 (from $60.00) while maintaining a Hold rating, following the company's third quarter earnings report.
Analyst Jim Duffy notes a positive outlook on shares, commenting that "3Q results showed both Columbia’s global brand opportunity and the offsetting effect of ongoing challenges in the North American market (-12% y/y wholesale revenue declines, -7ppts attributable to timing shifts). FY17 guidance was maintained and, helped by contribution from DTC in 4Q may prove conservative though US wholesale challenges are likely to remain a headwind into FY18."
