Novartis (NVS) Tops Q3 EPS by 4c

Novartis (NYSE: NVS) reported Q3 EPS of $1.29, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $1.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.41 billion versus the consensus estimate of $12.25 billion.

2017 Group outlook re-confirmed; net sales expected to be broadly in line with prior year (cc), core operating income expected to be broadly in line or decline low single digit (cc).
