Ambarella (AMBA) Tops Q2 EPS by 4c; Guides Q3 Revs In-Line

Ambarella (NASDAQ: AMBA) reported Q2 EPS of $0.48, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $71.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $70.31 million.

GUIDANCE:

• Ambarella sees Q3 2018 revenue of $87.5-90.5 million, versus the consensus of $88.9 million.
• Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis is expected to be between 62.0% and 63.5%
• Operating expenses on a non-GAAP basis are expected to be between $28.0 million and $29.5 million
