Titan Int'l (TWI) Misses Q2 EPS by 26c, Beats on Revenues

Titan Int'l (NYSE: TWI) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.17), $0.26 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $364.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $352.13 million.

Second Quarter Highlights

  • Net sales increased 10% year-over-year
  • SG&A expenses were reduced by $1.9 million, or 5%
  • Operating income improved by $1.4 million, or 53% year-over-year
  • EPS of $(0.17) was negatively impacted by currency exchange loss of $5.3 million ($0.08 per share)
  • Cash, cash equivalents, and certificates of deposit ended the second quarter at $153.2 million
