Hillenbrand (HI) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c, Beats on Revenues; Reiterates FY17 EPS Guidance

Hillenbrand (NYSE: HI) reported Q3 EPS of $0.52, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter came in at $396 million versus the consensus estimate of $388.57 million.

Fiscal 2017 Guidance

Hillenbrand is reaffirming 2017 guidance:

• Revenue growth of 1% to 3%
  • Process Equipment Group revenue up 3% to 5%
  • Batesville revenue down 1% to 3%
• GAAP EPS of $1.85 to $1.95
• Adjusted EPS of $2.00 to $2.10

GUIDANCE:

Hillenbrand sees FY2017 EPS of $2.00-$2.10, versus the consensus of $2.05.
