MARYSVILLE, Ohio, Aug. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (NYSE: SMG), the world’s leading marketer of branded consumer lawn and garden products, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 6 percent increase in the Company’s dividend, taking the payment to $0.53 per share from $0.50 per share. The fourth quarter dividend is payable on Friday, September 8, 2017 to shareholders of record as of Friday, August 25, 2017.
