TransCanada (NYSE: TRP) reported Q2 EPS of $0.76, $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.21 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.51 billion.
Second quarter 2017 financial results
- Net income attributable to common shares of $881 million or $1.01 per share
- Comparable earnings of $659 million or $0.76 per share
- Comparable earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $1.8 billion Net cash provided by operations of $1.4 billion
- Comparable funds generated from operations of $1.4 billion
- Comparable distributable cash flow of $936 million or $1.08 per common share
- Declared a quarterly dividend of $0.625 per common share for the quarter ending September 30, 2017
