Boston Beer Co. (SAM) Tops Q2 EPS by 94c, Lifts Low End of Guidance

Boston Beer Co. (NYSE: SAM) reported Q2 EPS of $2.35, $0.94 better than the analyst estimate of $1.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $247.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $222.74 million.

GUIDANCE:

Boston Beer Co. sees FY2017 EPS of $5.00-$6.20, a narrowing of the range from the previously communicated estimate of $4.20 to $6.20 and versus the consensus of $5.25.
