Unum Group (UNM) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c, Revenues In-Line

Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) reported Q2 EPS of $1.07, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $1.01. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.82 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.82 billion.

Outlook

The Company’s expectation for after-tax operating income growth per share for full-year 2017 is increased to be within a range of five percent to eight percent, from the previous range of three percent to six percent.
