General Electric awarded contract worth up to $409 million: Pentagon

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - General Electric Co (NYSE: GE) was awarded a defense contract worth up to $409 million for next-generation thermal, power and controls as part of a government and industry joint effort to develop innovative technologies, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.
